Default bedliners

Looking for a decent bed liner for the new f150 6.5 bed for casual use. Would like to know how the dualiner kit rates ?
thanks in advance

Good news is you have lots of options. Bad news is, figuring out which is good for you most of the time. Lol

Drop in
Spray in
Bed rug
Bed mat

I've had everything except a bed rug. They all worked well. But each had pros/cons.

Drop in = cheap and darn near indestructible. But, slippery and things slide easy. Which is good or bad. Plus the ridges in the liner may be an issue.

Spray I = can be a little expensive. Wears well but it WILL chip or tear depending on what you are doing. Otherwise it will last life of truck even though some fade in color. This is very rough and hard on your knees. Stuff can still slide around in it depending on how it's sprayed.

Bed mat = cheap. On cover floor and not sides so limited protection. Stuff will not slide. Can be removed which may be a plus.

Bed rug = expensive. Durable and easy on knees. Not sure if stuff slide or not as I never used one.

Hopefully others can add to the pros/cons above.

Again - these are all good options depending on how you may use the truck.

I love the bedrug - yes easy on the knees and great for camping out. Easy to slide heavy items and it holds up to gas, paint, etc. Pressure hose it right out!

BTW - are there any changes from 2014 short bed to a 2015 short bed? I have led cargo lights and locking tie downs which I should be able to make slits for.

Agreed. You really need to honestly decide how you will be using your bed. For me, a mat is all I needed/wanted.

I chose the Dualliner after looking at the other options installed in other F150s at work. It was easy to install, everything lines up nicely, things don't slide, and it looks good.

I have had spray ins, mats and drop ins bed liners in all my trucks. For my 2016, I choose to try a bedrug and so far I have not regretted it. I had zero complaints and regularly haul firewood and mulch in the back in the summer. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and are USA made.

I went with a nice, simple and easy to remove rubber bed mat. The tailgate piece is from weathertech. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it is. I may do a spray in down the road. Good luck.

I got the dualliner also. Fit is almost perfect and the rubber mat really prevents things from sliding around. Oh, and easy to install.
