It's kind of hard to explain. It's a rough texture, but soft to the touch. It's held up great so far. I had it done at Rhino Linings of Northwest Tarrant in Haslet. It's a small 1 or 2 man shop. I'm very happy with it.
$400 for Line X at Ford in Lewisville? I bought my truck in Carrollton but they told me they could do Line X and then said they could only do Toff which I declined. They still owe me about $500 back.

Turns out its a tuff liner, but looking at all the work done to the new trucks on the lot, they do a bang up job. All lights and everything fit snug, they liner over the back of the bed next to the cab window. Very pleased with initial sightings
They look really nice but all the reading I've done says they are very thin and not nearly as strong as Line X or Rhino. That's why I passed on getting Toff after they said they couldn't do the Line X they promised.
