Default Bed Rug?

I've been waiting 3 weeks for the dealer to install my spray in liner that was part of the deal. I'm getting angry waiting and will be going to ask for a check instead.
Due to the fact, I can't set truck up for work, till something is in place.

I had a tailgate rug on the last truck and that was nice on my knee that I trashed in a motorcycle accident. I'll probably do that again if I get it sprayed.
I had a rubber bed mat along with the carpeted tail. It was a pain since I pick up materials on a pallet and it gets pushed up.

I know there's threads and other options, but I want protection on the sides as well as the floor. I prefer having Line-x, but the thought of even a little cushion on the knees is appealing.

So those that did install it, would you buy it again?

Cool

I love the Bed Rug in ours and would have it again when buying another truck.

That said if I were using it as a work truck, ie putting pallets etc. in the bed, I would not have a Bed Rug.

I don't care for spray in liners either but that is just my opinion on it and YMMV.

I have a BedRug in my 2013 (which I moved from my '11) and I love it. When my '18 comes in I will be putting a new one in it. Like BigDozer, I don't "work" out of my truck so it's perfect for me and my usage. Yours may vary.

Is there nobody else around that can do a spray-in liner in your truck sooner than the dealership?

It's definitely plush on the ol knees. I'd buy again. You do have to be careful about sliding pallets across it. I have had two full pallets of quickrete on mine at once without destroying the rug or scooting it, so it is possible.

Oh yeah, there's a few places near me.
I was hoping to get that done while they take it in for noise near the passengers footwell.
Something is loose, I've gone over everything I can without putting a wrench on every nut.
If they do prolong it, I will get a check and get it done and take the truck to my old dealer for the issue.

I put a pallet of tile in my bed a couple times a year.
The warehouse I mainly go to has a new scissor lift that extends. So I think the days of sliding the pallet forward may be over.
I do like a spray liner too tho. Feels like it tightens up the bed. That's probably just my imagination.
What I do know is I'm not getting a plastic liner.
I was done having things slide around, 15 ago.

I opted for the Bedrug XLT mat that covers bed and tailgate (not the wheel wells or sides). I got an excellent F150 Forum price (for it and the Lomax cover) and very quick shipping from Luke at TruckAlterations.com

I had the mat in place when installing the bed cover. Kneeling, sitting and lying down in the bed were quite comfy.

Bed rug makes a non carpeted liner that should work for you, it simulates a spray in surface with the padding of the rug. It is called BedTread

I had a BedRug in my Tundra for 11 years. It held up well, great on the knees, easy to clean, vacuum, etc. What I didn’t like is trying to unzip the bottom from the sides - which was almost in impossible to get back on correctly. With that said, I assume after this length of time they probably made improvements, but overall, I loved it.

I’m torn on getting a BedRug for my F150 b/c the dealer had the llner sprayed in and with the number of mods I’d like to make/perform not the truck, this isn’t at the top of my list.

The only issue I had with the one in my 14 was the zipper for the tailgate corroded, but never had a need to remove the sides.

I love my bed mat and they make it so unless you are doing really heavy duty stuff that you don't absolutely have to do Line-x. I went with the Dee-Zee Heavy Weight Utility Matt off of Amazon $80 shipped. I have had a bed mat for years and it saves knees and makes it hard for stuff to slide when in the bed. IMHO great solution for the money.
