So far it has been good to me. 22-23 MPG on highway. Trying not to get into the turbos too much but it is fun to do.
Three new teenage drivers at once! Holy Catfish, is there enough Advil in the world to manage that kind of headache? I feel your pain of not getting into the turbos too much. I have the 3.5, and it's kinda tempting to keep stepping on it.

Thanks for all the info. I am going to be putting a cover on it so I think the string lights are a good option. I hunt a lot so I need some light for the bed in the early am. Yeah, it is a headache.and is going to really hurt the wallet with insurance. They love driving the new truck though.

You are going the same route as me. Between fishing and hunting I am in need of some light quite often. The strip lights were the ticket for me. If I remember I will take some photos tonight after dark.

I did a combination of OEM / Aftermarket for my F250. Ran 12 Volt constant from battery. Added a timer module (set for 2 min) to allow me to use lights when battery is not on. Bought OEM switch on ebay. Bought recon "OEM replacement LED lights." Ran Hot and ground from switch to each light. Looks OEM but much brighter and wired completely aftermarket.

What timer module did you use for your setup? If you used a male connector for the OEM switch would you share the part #? I bought the OEM switch off eBay as well for some LED strips but haven’t installed yet. Wanted the clean look of the OEM switch. Might add the recons later if the LEDs are not enough. Are you still liking this setup? Thanks!
