Default Bed Covers

Recommendations for a bed cover for my 5.5 ft bed?

Pretty open to ideas as long is it is a hard cover...Considering tri-fold, retractable, one piece.

What do you have / any positives or negatives?

Lots of posts about this already. Sites like AutoAnything have sections explaining the benefits / features to have you learn more.

I've reviewed a ton of different bed covers and have decided to go with the BAK Revolver X2. That is just a preference due to what I am looking for (sealed from water 99%, easy to open, and tailgate still opens when the cover is fully closed).

I installed the Ford branded Bakflip. I had one on my Ram. Extremely happy with Bakflip.

There are a lot of factors to consider. Read the threads and decide what is important to you.

I just installed a Paragon, good so far.

I had the bakflip vp on my 2013 f150 short bed. Loved it and had zero problems with it. Don't know if it was completely water proof, but I had my luggage with the wife and kid's bags in there and drove through a pretty heavy rain and everything was dry. I'm going with the bakflip mx4 this go around for added strength, and I believe you can close the tailgate with the cover closed now. Whatever you get, give this guy a call or email. Price was so good it helped push me from the G2 to the mx4.

Forgot to say I originally got turned on by this brand because it sits flush. I hate seeing a bulky cover. Ruins the appearance of the truck IMO.
