It should come on when the engine isn't running.

Guess what, your "check engine" light will come on with the key on every car I have ever driven. Just start the damn engine and THEN see if it shows problems before worrying.

I purchased this 2016 on Friday , upgraded from my 2010. This truck is a major upgrade from my last one and every little thing has me thinking, ‘ what the hell is this’ . Just haven’t noticed that light in the last 2 days , so it got me a tad worried.
