Battery issue?
[QUOTE=SpencerPJ;7280470]Has it been sitting a decent amount? mostly city driving? over the last few months? If yes, I agree with Merc52, you'll be fine. But if you have had it on the hwy 20+ miles within the last week and you got this, I'd have it checked.[/QUOTE
It has been a couple of weeks since it has been on the road for 20+ miles at a time. Didn’t give it much thought since the original battery came through the Covid years with less driving. Oh well live and learn. Thanks 😊
No the 6,000+ is over the 3 weeks. The battery is warranted Ford/dealership. Your right if needed I will put in a new battery and deal with Ford/dealership later. Thanks 😊
The lights/radio are not left on unless the truck is running. Voltage? Not my expertise.🤔. Hopefully after tomorrow all will be fine. I will put a battery tender on it when we get back if it’s going to sit. Thanks
The ACC is really not used at all. I should know more after tomorrow. With any luck the trip will come off without a hitch.😄 Thanks

If you have battery issues the 2nd day, replace it while on the road. The parts store will probably do it for you if you aren't able to do so yourself.
I'm sure you didn't mean to imply you were covering 6,000 miles in one day. ha Yeah, if not charged the following day then for your own peace of mind, a new battery would be ideal.
Maybe you can call ahead and have the store charge the battery that you purchase so it's 100% fresh when you arrive.
Batteries are not a dealership inly item... if it is warrantied then fine, but to jeopardize the trip, just spend the hundred-bucks.
Ford is one of the brands (not sure if others are similar) that don't do well with short trips. The battery management system only charges when it feels the need (duh), but if you only drive short distances, the time charging is outweighed by the demand while on the short trip.

Well, here is a case of no info provided and all guessing.
Has the truck been driven short trips and times?
Has the radio or lights been left on too long?
Has the voltage been read so something about what the state of charge is beside the dash notification?
Is the Alternator recharging at s sufficient level to recharge in a reasonable amount of time?
Has the battery been overcharged and boiled the water out of the electrolyte to a low level from a faulty Alternator?
I sure would want to know these things for the trip you will be taking.
Good luck.
