long story short, read the info on bad ox, watched videos and then called to confirm the box fit flush against the bulkhead, laid flat and could access the ford tie downs in the bed I purchased one to go with the MX4.

It was not installed right and had to go back to have it corrected & then it did notnlaynflat or allow use of bed cleats.

Called bad and was told it was installed wrong, went back to installers and talked to them, they took pictires and I went back a week later to have it corrected.

Turns out it does not collapse flat but at an angle and does block use of tie downs.

E maild the customer service lead at bac who told me to read the instructions and look at the pictire.

The box does not fit a bottle of windows fluid, does not fold up flat and does not allow use of the front bed tie downs.

I was told by bak tough ****, it does at advertised even after being told it would do what it does not.

The customer service lead could care less I'm a disabled vet, had to drive 109 miles round trip to get it installed and then fixed and all he ad to offer was asking if I wanted to return it.

Never mind that's another 100 mile round trip to pay to have it removed and boxed up to ship back to the dealer I purchased it from.

Customer service from bak sucks, they only care about making money and lying to the customer to make money.

Don't ever expect anything out of bak if you need customer service, all they will do is **** on you.

Yeah Rampy, I know what you mean on the Bak Customer Service..it could certainly be improved. I have a Bak F1, and am leaning toward purchasing a UnderCover Ultra Flex that has a 5 year warranty when my 2018 F150 arrives.

I've had a great experience with Bak's customer service. Just last week I had a part break on my MX4, called Bak, and they sent me the part and an extra which arrived 2 days later. Couldn't be happier with their customer service.

Paid for mine Saturday, shipped out yesterday and was delivered today. I even called my guy back home who's a retailer for these covers and told him the price and he said it's lower than his cost. Looking forward to installing it this week. Thanks Zach.

Glad Bak came through for you! How long did you own your MX4 before the part broke?

It was my pleasure. We certainly appreciate the business and support of all the fellow F150forum members. If you have any questions at all during the install feel free to give me a shout.

About a year and 2 months, but Bak didn't ask me for any information. They just asked for my address and sent me the part.

Most I got was along the lines of what do you want us to do.....

And then it was if I wanted them to help return it to where I purchased it from.

That's it, they could care less about lying and misleading the puvlic. Hell, I called and talked to a rep who told me it fit over the phone and it did not. What is up with that crap....

But I'm SOL due to being the sucker who fell for thier crap......

I doubt I am dealing with the same person as you in Bak Customer Service, but happy you had a better experience than myself.

Ordered mine from Luke at Truck Alterations on Friday and it was delivered on Tuesday. Very happy with the quick shipment and the overall fit and finish of the cover. I might need to adjust it forward a bit still since it does seem to have a hard time closing the last section.
