Default Bakflip MX4??? Anyone

Anyone have the new bakflip MX4? I have had 3 baklfip covers in the past and really liked them all. I always hated the fact you had to lower your tailgate first to close the cover or the rear rubber gasket would get caught and bind up. I see the new design MX4 you not longer have to do that. Was curious if it is not as weather tight as the original versions.

I would also be very curious about this as I am leaning towards the MX4 also. Anyone?

I'm pretty interested in this myself. I wonder if the MX4 is a lot better than the G2?

So this is my first BAKflip. I had an Extang Solidfold on my 2010 so I can only compare it to that. I ordered it thru a local dealer and they had it in a day. Same price as online and they installed it for free. The main reason I went with the MX4 is that they say you can close the the tailgate without opening the cover, and you can with no problem. It also works with the remote tailgate opening. The tailgate doesn't release as smooth as without the cover, but it still opens. Compared to the Solidfold, it seems significantly lighter and thinner. Also, my Solidfold would leak enough that it would cause issues. It always leaked right in the middle. The truck was parked out in the rain all day today and there was just a little puddle in the corner of the bed at the tailgate. The way my truck sits in the driveway, it is just about level. If it was on a slight incline, I'm guessing it wouldn't have leaked.

The dealer I got it from said he thought it was just like all the other BAKflips, at least as far as the install.
