Default Which BAKFlip?

I had a BAKFlip on my 2008 and really liked it. Looking for one for my 2019 SCREW, but I see I have a few choices. Which would you recommend and why? Thanks

I have the F1 which I bought over the MX4 for its dent/hail resistance. MX4 is matte black aluminum construction (about 70 lbs, matte finish). F1 is FRP/composite construction (about 55 lbs, gloss finish). Their remaining features are similar (hold 400 lbs, 5 year warranty).

I am not familiar with the FiberMax, but see that it holds 300 lbs and has a 3 year warranty.

Edit to add: I think most I have seen on this forum and in the wild are MX4. Seems to be the most popular.

I know your set on BakFlip. But you might want to take a look at Lomax before you pull the trigger. I've had both and like Lomax the best. I've got the Diamond Plate version.

What did you like better about the Lomax? BAKFlip is all I've ever had, but I'm open to other options.

I have the MX4. I prefer the flat black over the gloss. Have not had any issues with it to date.

I have the MX4 and love it. Hard to believe that prices have gone up over 35% in the two years since I bought mine.

With the BakFlip in the folded position up against the cab, you lose about six inches (m/l) of bed length. The Lomax does not fold up against the cab. There are three leafs, but you can only fold it twice. When you get to the last fold, you can remove two carabiner clips, pick it up about 45 degrees and remove the whole bed cover. This gives you full use of the whole bed length. Only downside, is then you have to figure out where to store the bed cover.
