This thread is a joke, right? The camera is there so you don't back into anything, not to view what is behind you in stunning 4K resolution. And yes, it will get dirty and need to be cleaned from time to time.

No. But im fairly sure they make a plastic specific RainX now.

I also agree that the camera sucks.
My 2015 Honda Fit had a much better camera ($15.9k car )

Edit: I should mention, I dont have the fancy MFT screen.

I find the camera's view outstanding... not sure why you guys think otherwise.

I used the spray. Said it was safe on headlights and I figured the camera lens was similar. I applied it and have had no issues. But maybe I'll look a bit harder and see before reapplying another coat.

No brainer here, the camera on my 16 Plat blows away the one I had on the 10 Plat.

Who said anything about 4K resolution? I didn't. I said that the image contrast is flat, which makes it difficult to see objects clearly. It is like someone put a very thin layer of vaseline over the lens.

If you have nothing useful to offer then don't respond.

Yours looks distinctly clearer than mine. Do you have a shot of it during the daylight?

Compared to other backup cameras I've seen (like the Honda Civic's) the F-150's cameras are way better. Larger, brighter, and more clear.
