New to me 2018 Platinum. After recent cold weather (not sure if the weather contributed), I started getting intermittent poor signal/flickering video from my backup camera along with blind spot and cross traffic system errors on the console that would pop up and almost immediately disappear. A few days later, the backup camera went blue and I get blind spot and cross traffic errors every time I start the truck. I no longer have blind spot indicators on my mirrors.
I have checked both tail lights for moisture, removed, unplugged, and applied dielectric grease to both tail light plugs, and unplugged and applied dielectric grease to the tail gate plug by the spare tire with no improvement.
Did you unbolt the SODs (Side Object Detection module - aka: BLIS modules) from the taillamp assemblies and check the connectors from the taillamps to the SODs? That is often where the problem is. The connectors are inside the taillamps and you can't see them until you remove the SODs.
Backup camera issues and BLIS/CTA can also be from getting water in the connectors by the spare tire. These should be checked as well. Connector C405 is often the culprit for BLIS as the MS CAN bus passes through it. C406 or C408 are often the camera issue.
52merc is on the right track, however the rear camera does not use the MS CAN (the BLIS does). The thing in common among these two systems is "power". They both receive power via connector C408 (I think pin 8 white/brown wire). His picture in above post shows which connector is C408. If not connector maybe the wire has issues. Another common connector is underhood C275 (I think pin 30) or C1591 (pin 33) <depends on year and version of truck>..

Reason: correct connectors
I unplugged C405, C406 and C408, blew them out with air (there was no debris or anything, just to make sure), applied dielectric grease, and reconnected. No change. All the wires on C408 appeared to be intact.
Do you have a multimeter? If so, check power at C408, pin 8, white /brown wire (with ignition switch ON, doesn't need to be running). Should be 12 volt DC.
I haven't resolved it, I've just been living with the annoyance. All the connecters in the picture below were tight and had to dirt or water in them.
I think I'm going go order the rear wiring harness that connects to C405 / C408 as it seems there might be corrosion in the wiring itself. It's about $100, so well worth it if it fixes it.
