Backing up with tailgate down
Key fob, not key. I have a push button start.
Stops the beeping when you get out while its running, also it has come in handy a lot of times when I run out to my truck and forget my key.
If I ever drive away without my key fob, I wont have to worry about shutting off the truck and not being able to start it again.
The truck is smart enough to know I have a key in the truck and a key in my pocket and it allows me to lock/unlock as if I didn't have a key inside.

I don't have push button smart key.
Does ford have the touch sensitive handles like new toyotas do? Just wondering if someone touched the handle with your hidden key in the car- if it would unlock?
The truck knows the key is locked inside so it will not let you use the lock/unlock sensors from the outside unless you have another key on you. You can always use your pin pad to unlock too if you needed to get in to get the key out.
It does have a touch sensitive handle, you put your hand in the handle to unlock and you touch the black touch pad on the outside to lock it. no it senses the key on you, even if you are washing the truck if the water from your hose hits it while squirting it off it will lock/unlock
I'd like to suggest not leaving an extra key in your truck. Insurance isn't likely to cover your loss in the event it's stolen. As you know it'll start without the key using the push button. That's basically a key in the ignition invite.
