Have you checked for DTCs? You have the Tech Package, so does the 360 view work properly? There are many modules that provide information to the camera system and any one of them could be creating the issue.

The following modules all are part of the rear camera system:
  • ABS module
  • APIM
  • BCM (including PAM)
  • FDIM
  • GWM
  • IPMB
  • PCM
  • PSCM
  • TRM (if equipped)
The rear camera system communicates information over the following buses which could also be causing the issue:
  • Rear Camera LIN
  • HS1-CAN
  • HS2-CAN
  • HS3-CAN
WSM suggests resetting the APIM if the camera is frozen.

360 camera is all working as it should. I have reset the APIM module and no difference. DTC's active are B115E:08-0B, and B124D:02-8A

B115E:08-0B

B115E = Camera Module
:08 = Bus Signal/Message Failure
-0B = 11 occurrences

Possible Causes:
  • TR input concern
  • Infotainment display concern
  • LIN concern
  • BCM (without PTBA)
  • APIM
  • IPMB (with PTBA)
  • BJB Fuse-113 (7.5 A)
B124D:02-8A

B124D = Tire Pressure Sensor
:02 = General Signal Failure
-8A = 138 occurrences

The B124D code has nothing to do with the rear camera issue. Since a reset of the APIM has not helped, I would next start looking at the camera LIN circuit for wiring or connector issues. The LIN is the WH (white) wire coming from the camera and passes through the following connectors: C4360, C406, C408, C316, C263, and C2512A. Check the wiring for damage and the connectors for damaged or corroded pins.

C4360 is the camera connector inside the tailgate. C2512A is the connector at the IPMB (not likely the issue).

C408 and C406 are behind the spare tire. These connectors are susceptible to water intrusion.

C316 is on top of the DS wheelwell in the engine compartment.

C263 is behind the DS kick panel. A problem here would likely effect the front camera as well. This is where the LIN circuit splits between the front camera and the rear camera.
