I just turn up the jams and drive. No noise issues.

I had a 2015 supercrew with the 2.7 for 3 years without any issues. Traded that for a similar 2018 (just more options this time) with the 2.7, and no issues. Granted, the new one only has about 3K miles on it, but so far, all is good. Still amazed at how this little engine performs, and the fuel economy it manages to get, as long as I keep my foot out of it. Sorry for those of you that are having problems with the ecoboost motors.

My son works as a partsman at a Toyota dealership (but drives a 15 F150 2.7EB) and is busy ordering warranty parts for the Toyota trucks. They have a lot of the same issues and some that are even worse. Before that, he worked at a Dodge/Chrysler dealership. Same thing, lots of warranty issues. All OEMs seem to have the same problem, lots of TSBs and recalls, and a lack of parts to repair the issues.

I always wonder why for how great Toyota's are they all have a service department at the dealer that is every bit as large and busy as the Ford dealers in this area. I'll just leave it at that.

It could be that there are only a fraction as many Toyota dealerships as Ford dealerships in the area.

158,000 miles on my 2013 Eco Screw. Still running strong with nothing but routine maintenance. Now if the dealers will just come down a little more on the 2018's, I will be moving on to Gen 2.

My 2015 3.5 eco was problem free. The truck had very few issues as well over 3 years and 44k miles.

I just bought a used 16 2.7eco work truck without any doubt.

Dealer service sucks; my only hangup with Ford. I’ve been able to duplicate 2 minor issues the truck had to 2 different service writers at 2 different dealerships and then get calls saying the tech couldn’t do the same. Ridiculous they should pay me for time off work.

Humor goes over some peoples heads. For how some people talk about Toyota, one wonders why there is a service department at all.

Considering there are only a fraction of Tundra's on the road compared to the F150 I guess that makes sense.
