Default Avoid Eco Boost at all costs

The Ford Eco Boost is Ford's Apple I-phone...put it out there even though we have known issues. The Ford Eco Boost are having CAC Turbo collecting water issues( condensation) bringing computer into what is called Limp mode. Result bad idle and possible Engine damage. Yes I too was suckered in. One more time in the shop and It's off to my States Motor Vehicles Department to file for vehicle Lemon Law. Do Not Use Ford's advice in their manual for this! Your States is less biased! Good luck!

Maybe he's just pissed. Perhaps the servicing dealer is clueless? Having the same problem occur more than once with no resolution does this to people. Some just express it better, others vent!

That thought ran across my mind too. I can relate but if he really has a problem, Ford will fix it or replace the vehicle.

Three threads with the same gripe...

Maybe if you start just one more, the problem will resolve itself.

Not all people dissatisfied with their Ford trucks are trolls. I had a 13 EB I had to dump for similar reasons. Ford did nothing to help when the truck was still under the powertrain warranty. I know the Ecoboost are “gen 2” now but I would never purchase another. Sad to hear.

Rather than call the OP a troll, give him a chance to explain why he feels the way he does. I think many of us, I won't say a majority, but many, have had a bad experience with a Ford dealership while we've owned our F-150. Many of us have had problems with our vehicles within the first year and 12,000 miles of ownership only to be ignored by Ford. The powertrains Ford has put into these vehicles are flawed...period. A number of the issues have also been a problem for quite some time. I don't think the OP's frustration is unreasonable at all nor do I think we should be labelling someone because they come on here to share a negative experience. Don't be pissed at the OP, be pissed at Ford for selling subpar vehicles that they won't stand behind.

You could make a reasonable argument that F-150 engines are are junk but that's probably not one of them. Your troll game sucks.
