Just to be sure I'm understanding, the Aux input is the one from Sync3, right?

OK, that might be a better option. I like the factory camera for the 12 pin connection for both the camera and TPMS. Maybe I can figure out a way to make that work. Between the 7 pin, 12 pin, DC-DC, and air, might start getting cluttered with another plug for a different camera.

You can definitely do this. I launch Maps first then press and hold bottom right Squarish icon allowing you to put Maps at top of screen then choose the secondary app for bottom. - just note that for me the “cam” app also displays the Sync 3 display which I use for Sirius/FM radio. You could also download the SiriysXM app since you probably get it for free w your subscription.

I just did a 200 mile drive with Google maps up top and console in the bottom. It only showed the SYNC portion. The buttons were not visible.
Looks pretty slick that way.

Nice looking rigs. Here's ours.
Limitless Autoworks has a Camera-On-Demand kit for the Super Duty that I was planning to use. I was hoping this unit took care of that because it isn't cheap. I may end up still going with that.
I preferred the factory trailer TPMS on the Ram, so I'll likely stick with the Ford version. Just not a fan of mounting things on the dash if I can avoid it.
Will look into other camera options. Our trailer is prepped for a backup camera, so I'd like to mount it there, but would require some additional wiring if we don't use something wireless.
We typically listen to SiriusXM, especially when we're out west. It's not a deal breaker, as we can't currently have maps and SiriusXM up on the factory unit.

Here is a new idea i have for travel trailer backup camera, what do you guys think of this and will it work. Thinking of putting one of these https://a.co/d/9ecEnXo on inside on the back window of TT and then connect it to TT wifi system. Then install camera app on head unit and connect head unit to TT wifi system. I then should be able to have TT backup camera on while driving. Then figure out what wire triggers the truck backup camera and install a switch on it to disable it while TT is connected. Will this work, would be easy and no wires. Also will use phone hotspot to connect TT wifi to internet.
