Default Automatic Power Folding Mirrors

Hello,

Just purchased my 2015 last week and for the first few days whenever I'd leave the car and lock it up, the side mirrors would automatically fold in. I've apparently done something and now they longer do this.

I've looked online and thru the manual but unable to find a resolution. Does anyone know how to turn this feature back on?

Thanks!

I think you were dreaming about that, I wish they would do that

I did learn they will still close if you turn the truck off but BEFORE you depress the door handle. once you depress the handle they have no more pwr

Correct. There is no 'automatic' power fold function that I'm aware of. Perhaps you hit the fold button on the driver's door while closing the window? Dunno.

Ha, sorry JT!

I SWEAR this was working at the dealership and for the first day or so when I took the truck home. But I do have a newborn at home and haven't slept much so maybe I'm just losing my mind.

Thanks for the quick replies!

Maybe...just maybe, your newborn has psychic powers, and he/she folded the mirrors as you were both exiting the truck? You never know...

At this point that honestly makes the most sense.

I'm sure someone with the wiring diagram could figure this out. Just need to energize the relay at ignition off and on in lieu of the switch.

There is no perfect solution here.....folding in at shutoff would only help me part of the time.

I fold mine in to drive into my garage so I can get closer to the wall and away from my other cars.....also when I park in a tight spot with another PU with big mirrors.....give pedestrians a break....smile....also don't want my mirrors hit! Plus, I surely don't want them to deploy out automatically before I back out of my garage.....

No nirvana here....smile....but yes, I think you imagined the auto fold!!
