I turned mine off after they automatically came on and didn't turn off when a car was about 30 yards away while I was going up a slight hill. They weren't happy (horn honk). I'm surprised they came on in the first place considering where I was at and the ambient light around me.

I'm sure they're really beneficial for a lot of folks, but us city folk could probably do without the feature but that twice a year trip to the deer lease out on county road such and such.

Does not work well in fog, comes on when it shouldn't, as I discovered with approaching traffic. Works great for road trips, but I have this feature turned off for my primarily city commute in and around town.

I leave mine on. Mostly drive in the city and they don't come on...did go into the country the other night and they seemed to work just fine.
