Question Auto Window Up Deprograms itself

So here's a weird one....

Driver's side...

Auto Window down using the one touch position works perfectly. Auto Window up stopped working all of a sudden.

I can re-train the auto-up, and it works from window partial closed. But as soon as the window goes all the way down to the bottom (to the stop), it deprograms the auto-up. If I retrain again, I can put the window down to just above fully down and auto-up works. But once it goes all the way down, broken again.

WTF? Help?

Do you have any in-channel vent visors/rain deflectors?

Try this procedure. Its from the WSM.

1.Lift and hold the window control switch until the door window is fully closed.
2. Release the window control switch.
3. Lift and hold the window control switch again for at least one second.
4. Press and hold the window control switch until the door window is fully open.
5. Release the window control switch.
6. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed.
7. Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch down and one-touch up features.

I tried a version of this and it didn't work. I'll try this exact one tomorrow.

Welcome tho the window bounce back club.
Tried everything, the re-programming sort of works until the truck is turned off OR the cross winds are strong enough to trigger the bounce back.
Wish the hell Ford would of put this bounce back 'feature' in the setup so it could be permanently disabled.

From what you describe, it sounds like something in the window motor sensors is gone bad. The motor has a couple of hall effect sensors to get window position information which it uses for the one touch up/down.

It's not an issue with bounceback.

How would one go about fixing it?

I think you would have to replace the motor. Never had one apart, but I am sure they are not built to be serviced in this modern world.
