Default Auto-Up Window Malfunctioning

2016 XLT 302A Supercrew

Pretty regularly when putting up my driver's window, it gets about an inch from closed and then immediately goes down. Happens whether it is on auto up or I'm holding the switch. Anyone else have something like this happen? I'm not having any luck finding any TSBs on it. Also having Sycn thinking it is connected to a call when it isn't, then locking up issues. Saw the threads about that one, waiting for it to happen again to take a video of it. So I guess it is time for a trip to the dealer soon.

Yep, the window thing happens to me somewhat regularly with both front driver and passenger. I'm going to take my truck in for rattles and squeaks fairly soon so I'll ask them about it, but curious if there's others with this issue.

Look in the manual regards the windows, it should tell you how to reset them. See if that helps.

I've had the problem with the window auto-up feature a handful of times - never when doing it manually though. I'd start the auto-up function and then a few inches from top it stops and goes back down to the half way point. Then I try to engage auto up again and it doesn't let me so I have to hold the window button until it closes completely. First world problem I guess - I've just ignored it up to this point... Keep us posted on what happens at the dealer please!

Same thing happens to me all the time. Annoying for sure.

If you hit a bump in the road or uneven surface this will happen if your trying to put the window up using one touch. It senses something in the way so automatically goes down to not crush whatever it is. I've had this issue to it was annoying. Now I just hold the switch up to roll up when driving

I notice it happening if a lot of slip stream wind is blowing against the window on its way up - probably over sensitive to the emergency 'something in the way at the top' mode. Just re-press the up button.
