Auto Stop/Start Trip Odometer

Just curious if the trip odometer stops timing run hours when vehicle engine is not running at a stop light etc.

nope, the clock still ticks. I get people that tell me I only drive 30mph when I screenshot my trip screen because of all the time I spend stopped at red lights.

It even runs when just the key is on but you haven't started the engine at all.

Seems odd for them to do it that way since you would want to use the feature for gas economy info i.e. engine running gas burning etc.

I agree, when the engine stops, so should the clock imo.
