Default Auto start-stop feature

I have a 2016 2.7 Ecoboost F-150 that just turned 1000 miles. Several times during these 1000 miles the start-stop feature has failed to engage. Nothing else is on, i.e. A/C, heater, etc. when this occurs. Does anyone have suggestions on why it may not always come on? And yes, I am talking about when I'm at a dead stop. This happens about maybe 15-20% of the time.

Thanks so much!! Next time it occurs, I'll have to see if any of those conditions are there when it happens.

Mine did this when it was new because it had a very bad battery. But I think you would have seen other symptoms of a bad battery. Mine lasted for about 600 miles before it refused to start.

If the AC compressor is running it won't stop.
