Default Auto Start Stop Disable

I found a youtube video
and they unplugged the bottom wire to the Trailer Tow Brake and Light Control Module under the dash to disable the auto start stop. You just need to plug it back in if you are going to tow as it controls the lights and whatnot. My question is my XLT doesn't have this module. Is there somewhere else it could be mounted or maybe I don't have it at all?

If you aren't able to verify what unplugging the cable from this module does besides disabling the stop/start, why do it? Does it also disable cross traffic warning for example?

It disables the trailer break lights. I don't tow anything, so if I were able to I'd just unplug it to disable this and plug it back in the event I did tow something.

I did see that, but I don't like the price tag on such a simple solution.

Spreading out that $100 module over how long I’ll own my truck and the number of times I’ll have to start it and remember to push the button, it’s worth it.
