Hi guys, I have a question for you again. Twice my truck has shut off while I'm coasting up to a red light and still in motion, once last summer and again today. Both times a message showed on the display in yellow that A.S.S. had engaged and to stop the truck, put in park and re-start the engine to continue driving. I usually drive with the plug pulled under the dash to disable A.S.S. (appropriate short form) but had recently plugged it back in to tow a trailer which resumes full operation of A.S.S. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What worries me most is having to come to a stop in a live lane to restart the vehicle, none of this ever happened with the plug pulled to disable it so I have disabled it again. Dealer says they have never heard of it so I'm wondering if any of you guys have? Thanks

 

I've heard of a couple of occurrences of that. I would get it to the dealer see what they say.

 

I'll take it in next week and see if it left a code or trace in the computer and report back, for now it's disabled. Thanks!
