Default Auto Lock and key fob programing

I am sure it is in the manual somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

First, I have auto lock enabled and it worked at first but now the truck doors do not lock when I leave with the fob. I checked that the auto lock is still selected. any suggestions?

Also, can I program so that the truck knows which settings to use based on the key fob? For example, when my wife uses her fob it knows to go to her settings without having to press the memory button on the door.

I have been searching for these answers in the manual but I keep getting sidetracked reading about all the other cool features.

Thanks for any guidance.

Page 58 for memory settings, page 68 for auto lock/unlock. I'd post screens of those pages but I'm on my way to work. Hope this helps, I know there's a lot of interesting things these trucks cab do.

The issue I am having is the doors not unlocking when I put it in park. Is this normal? I have autounlock checked in the dash, but no dice. I looked for settings in sync and in the dash and turned up empty.

The autolock feature locks the doors when vehicle reaches a certain speed. It does NOT lock the doors as you walk away from the vehicle. The autounlock will NOT work if you have locked the doors with the fob or the lock button on the door (in other words, they must autolock before they will autounlock).

I'm disappointed that the doors don't auto lock when you leave the vehicle as others do. Geez, more work! Oh well.

Thanks for correcting me. One less thing for dealer to look at.

All you gotta do is touch the little black button in the middle of the door handle to lock it. To unlock, touch the handle (not the black button). I just put my hand on it to grab and pull it open and you'll hear it unlock.

Just touch the little black button on the outside door handle as you walk away and doors will lock.

Forgot to address this issue on my last post. I don't believe you can get the key fobs to recall memory settings for each driver. You can program separate codes for each driver on the outside key pad. When that code is entered, it will recall memory setting for that driver. Don't have the manual with me, but it's in there.

page 58 of manual

Memory Feature (If Equipped)

You can use the remote control to recall

memory settings for the driver seat, power

mirrors, steering column and power foot

pedals.

Press the unlock button on a linked remote

control to recall the memory positions. If

you enable the easy-entry-and-exit

feature, the seat moves to the easy-entry

position. The seat moves to the driver

memory position when you put the key in

the ignition.

Linking a Preset Position to your

Remote Control or Intelligent Access

Key Fob

1. With the ignition on, move the memory

features to the desired positions.

E142554

2. Press and hold the desired preset

button for about five seconds. You hear

a tone in about two seconds. Continue

to hold until you hear a second tone.

3. Within three seconds, press the lock

button on the remote control you are

linking.

Repeat this procedure for another memory

button and transmitter if desired.

To unlink a remote control, follow the

same procedure, but with step three, press

the unlock button on the remote.
