Default Auto High Beams

Just wondering if anyone else has had the auto high beams turn on when in the city. The manual claims that the street lights should be enough to disable the high beams ... but I have them coming on in most street light situations. I talked to my service adviser, and he claims there is no adjustment possible.

Mine are working as they should. Off in city or under 32mph.

Mine never come on in the city. In rural areas they come in and off perfectly.

For normal use around town, and in a more rural but highly populated area I travel to weekly, the AHB toggled ON/OFF too frequently. At times, especially rounding bends with a few second gap in oncoming traffic, it felt like the truck was "auto flashing" as it cycled from Low to High and back to Low in very short bursts. On straight sections it was more predictable in behavior (or consistent, I guess).

Anyway, I turned the feature off and am not sure how I see using it really. Just as easy for me to control the beams as needed.

I agree. I had the same problem, found it annoying.

I find that they work about 98% correctly and really like them.

Are you saying they don't under 32 mph?

That makes absolutely no sense at all.Why would Ford have it set for 32 mph?
