Default auto headlight question

This may sound dumb, but I thought I'd ask as I'm new to owning a F150... anyways I usually just leave the headlight switch in the Auto mode. But the other day, I noticed my headlights were on when I got out of the truck and noticed it was turned to on. I turned it back to auto again and thought nothing of it. Today, i noticed the parking lights were on when I got out of the truck and it was turned to the parking light switch. Am I just being clumpsy and bumping the **** with my knee? or is something else going on here?

I have accidentally bumped mine before so I know it's possible.

Set the truck so the seat and steering column move out of the way when you turn the truck off.

Yup.. you bumped the switch....

I move my seat with my belly sometimes, reaching in to get stuff in the console, while outside the truck.

It happens.
