Default Auto Climate Features

Curious about the Auto Climate features... I was reading the 2015 owner's manual and came across this...

Automatic Settings
In hot weather, the system is set to 72°F
(22°C). The cooled seats are set to high
(if available, and selected to AUTO in the
information display).
In moderate weather, the system either
heats or cools (based on previous
settings). The rear defroster, heated
mirrors and heated seats do not
automatically turn on.
In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F
(22°C). The heated seats are set to high
(if available, and selected to AUTO in the
information display). The rear defroster
and heated mirrors automatically turn on.

So, does anyone know what constitutes "hot weather" and "cold weather?" I'd love to be able to turn on the heated/cooled seats when I remote start (once I receive my 2016 that is) but it doesn't sound like this is an option unless it is "hot" or "cold" according to the trucks preset settings...

Also, is there a way to adjust this in the settings?

Mid 80's to high 90's here since I bought my 2015 and my cooling seats come on with remote start.

If I had to guess I would say 80 and above would trigger cooled seats and 65 and below would trigger heated seats but that's just a guess.

I'm hoping heated seats don't come on at 65! Haha. Of course 65 is probably a bit brisk in Florida!

I should also note as soon as you get in and press the start button the seats turn back off.

Well that seems silly... But I guess they don't turn on automatically when you don't start it remotely either do they? You have to manually turn them on in those cases correct?

Yes you have to press the button every time.

It was 44 the other morning and the heated seats and wheel came on when I remote started.

I was hoping that would be an answer I'd be getting! I was afraid the "auto turn on" for the seats was going to be something absurdly cold and it wouldn't be helpful all the time. Thanks for the response!

The 14's and lower used to be like that. It had to be 32 on the dot, for the seats to come on.
