Asked FordserviceCA and no reply
Ive been waiting for a response from Ford Service and still no reply. I have now been waiting 16 weeks for my truck and Im about a week away from getting another brand of truck from a competitor. Im a first time Ford buyer and let me tell you this was the worst experience.
My Dealer is not at fault. They only tell customers what Ford tells them to tell customers.... 6-8 weeks for special order. I can even accept 10-12. But now its become a sh*t show.
I asked Ford Service to have the Regional Manager call me on September 3 and I still have not received a call. To me that is not acceptable and I'm feeling that they don't care about my hard earned money. If they don't want my 50k plus I'm sure someone else will take it.
I need my truck for work. If I can't work...I can't pay for the truck. I hope Ford will make it right.

fwiw, many of us early adopters ordered last summer/fall (I ordered mine 8/31/14), and didn't take delivery for many months (I got mine 2/13/2015).
What did you order? anything funky/unusual combination?
5.0/3.73 is very hard to come by. Just wish there wasn't such a lack of communication with Ford and its dealers. Misrepresentation is what they are selling which makes the dealers look like crap. If they told me 15-20 weeks from the beginning...it would be up to me if I wanted to wait. I know its a great truck but at this point in time I may have no choice but to go else where.
I know they can't do anything but I asked them to have the Regional Manager call me. I think that is something they can do. I haven't even received a response from them. That is not acceptable.
I ordered mine with the 5.0 3.73 combo july 27th, picking it up tomorrow. Its been at the dealer almost a week actually. So that cant be the reason why its taken for ever. Regardless you should be getting better comunication and given the chance to find something else you want and instead of waiting.
