Apple for MFT
this has been out for MFT since early november.
just go to syncmyride.com and download the update to a memory stick.
there are other threads on this.
in my opinion it's time for ford and other manufacturers to pull out of the technology business and leave it to those who know how to do it well. ford just need to give us a slot in the dash to plug in an ipad mini which does it all so much better.

Siri eyes free is more of a gimmick really. It doesn't do too much more than the MFT system can accomplish.
I had this feature on my vehicle I picked up last month (I guess the dealer updated it as part of the setup process).
To be honest, I don't even think you need the update for the same functionality. Holding the home button in my pocket on my iPhone would accomplish the same thing, as well as a bit quicker.
It takes like 5 seconds to register with the Ford Siri Eyes free or about 2 if you just hold down the home button.

I find the voice recognition with Siri much better that MFT.
Only downside is Siri will not work without an internet connection. Additionally, the slower the connection, the longer it could take to process the voice command. This is because the iPhone is not doing any of the recognition itself. Instead, it relays voice command to Apple's datacenters. They process the command and send the instructions back to the iOS device. MFT is processing the voice commands, but not nearly the processing power or historical findings that Apple has it in its datacenters.

I'm using voice-to-MFT for navigation but for everything else I use Siri.
I like that I can use the steering-wheel button to activate Siri. I can keep my phone in my pocket or the Sync drawer (if it's charging).
