Howdy I have a Samsung and use Android Auto all the time. My wife is stealing my truck again, and I figured I hook up Car Play. I have tried new cables holding my lucky rabbit foot etc, and can not get it to come up with Car Play. She has a Iphone 6S at IOS 11.0X . Can AA and car play be used on the same sync 3 radio? I know not at the same time and my phone was not in the truck or in range of the truck. We are updating her phone to the newest SW to see if that helps. Anything else I need to try?

So it looks like I need the USB Hub because I have a early build 16 Plat.

So before I spend the money on a USB hub will both APPs coexist together? When she has the truck CP works when sh give me back the truck AA will work.

 

Yes, both AA and Car Play will coexist just fine.
