Default Truck crapped out, waiting for a tow on side of highway.

So I’m driving my brand new F150 supercrew short box 4x4 lariat with the 2.7 on the highway to work. Suddenly I feel a vibration in the pedal and some shaking. Turn off the radio and it starts doing it again, seems to be under acceleration when it does this. So I pulled over and as I was doing so, the check engine light flashed. Truck shaked harder when I accelerated again. Once I was pulled over and stopped I Turned the truck off and waited a sec and turned it back on. Tried to accelerate again and it shook and vibrates under acceleration.

Called my dealer service dept and roadside. Currently on the side of the highway waiting for the tow. Ugh. $60,000 with only 6300kms on it. Gonna be very late for work now. Not impressed.

Anybody have a similar issue? Any ideas on what this could be?

Sorry to hear this, let us know the outcome. Maybe some bad gas? Good luck!

I’ll definitely update the forum. I’m no mechanic so I’m not sure what this could be but it’s an acceleration issue.

Funny, I texted my salesman and said, could be bad gas or a hose came loose. So that’s 3 people saying bad gas. Wonder if that’s t then. I filled up at a Sams Club in Niagara Falls NY. I’ve gone through the first 3/4 of the tank without issue. Only 1/4 tank left. Maybe a little less.

Agreed, My 2012 with an EcoBeast did that too. I bought new spark plugs, new air filter, injector cleaner, and did a whole lot of work on her. Kept throwing misfire codes. After a week of pulling out what little hair I had left, I needed to put gas in it. Within 5 minutes it was running great again. The EB engines are very sensitive to bad gas.

Sams is not a tier 1 gas supplier, costco is. Buyer beware!

I tend to shake, shutter, and run poorly when I have bad gas too.
Hopefully all it is is a bad tank.

If it’s bad gas, I won’t be going to sams again! That was the first tank ive put in the truck from a sams. Person I was with had a card and suggested I fill up since we were right nearby.
