+1.....the only reason I was going to get an FX4 is for PTM bumpers etc and the interior plus 4wd.
I don't plan on doing any extreme mudding but have had the need for 4wd in the past.
I have a '07 FX2 sport currently and got it for the same reasons I listed above but wish I had gotten 4wd from times in the past that I needed it.

I'm trying to figure out the package though with NAV. The new "bread crumb" feature would rock in those spots I make my own trails
Sport Appearance Pkg on XLT (maybe XL too?) gets your the console mounted shifter. No need to go Lariat. But you have to go Sport.
Magnetic is very similar to the Sterling & Shadow Grays, so folks liking those Ford colors will be satisfied with Magnetic, Bronze Fire is beautiful, but will likely encourage a love-hate reaction, Guard is very dark with a greenish hue...those who dislike a high maintenance black will likely avoid this color also.
