Default Anzo Switchback issues

All:

I purchased the Anzo Switchback's for my 2017 F150. The issue is that I purchased LED kits from 4x4TruckLED's at the recommendation of a member on here that is now banned (he was affiliated with that site). I purchased LED's and they weren't very bright. I tried everything to get them the way I wanted and it just wasn't bright enough. The issue I guess (according to a local customs shop here in my area) is that the Anzo has a projector style headlight housing. As such a standard LED isn't 360 degrees (according to the shop). He recommended that I go to HIDs since they are 360. He quoted me at $1000!!! for just the headlight bulbs and fitament kit. Anybody that has purchased these headlights WHAT DO YOU BUY for the bulbs? I just want something bright enough to see the darn road. The LED's I purchased are SO DULL and I was told because of the projector housing.

Here is links to what I purchased:

Bulbs:

(Purchased for the projector housing)

Once again, the issue I have is that even after a ton of adjustment the bulbs are NOT bright. They show MAYBE 6' in front of my truck. I have tried every type of adjustment. Any help would be useful. I have tried calling 4x4truckleds and can't seem to reach anybody for help. Thanks.

I’ve got the Crystalux G11 in my Alpharex projectors and they are quite bright. I lost a little bit of coverage to the sides though. Overall pretty happy with them.

My issue is I can't see very far FORWARD. I have even adjusted the height and it's still the same. My stock bulbs are like double the brightness in terms of distance.

How do you have them oriented? Connectors at 6 o clock I believe is what they should be.

I placed them exactly as the clips would orient them. They each have tabs..so only way they could go in...

Some LED's can be clocked with a small allen wrench that comes with the kit..the diodes should be at 3 and 9 position if adjustable.

Here's the ones I used. They're a knockoff of the ones Stage 3 used in their install video. $30 now, I paid $70. Make sure they're oriented correctly like 05_super said.

Now you know why he was banned. He was "suspended" several times. He just sells re-badged Chinese junk anyway. Get a hold of Diode Dynamics for a quality USA made bulb that has real customer support and a no questions asked 3 year warranty.
