Default Anzo Headlight Question

I'm looking at getting a set of anzo switchbacks for my 2016 F150, I looked in all related forums and didn't really find what I was looking for. I would like to replace the halogen bulbs they come with, with leds. Do these projectors work half way decent with leds or do I need to use hids, my friend bought a set of leds off of super bright leds in his reflector housing and I'm impressed with the light output so I'm assuming the light output would have to be decent for a projector housing. Any input would be great.

There is a thread that covers your exact question, but it is 400+ pages long. A lot of people put led's in them. I have LEDs in mine (not any particular brand), and the output is OK. Not great, but not bad. If you spend good $ on bulbs you should be fine. This link should help you.

I went through 100ish pages or more and was sick of not finding anything persuasive one way or another.

I put these in both the low beam and high beam projectors:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I absolutely love them. I've always run HIDs in the past, but I went with these since I was having problems with HIDs not flickering on my truck, even with relay kits. These bulbs are flat out AWESOME! The Anzos have a nice clean cutoff, so I haven't had any issues with oncoming traffic getting blinded. I can actually see them lighting up the building next door from about 75 feet away during the day when I come down the driveway. I can't say enough good about them. Well, except maybe the price.

I'll have to check them out thanks! Did you have to install any resistors?

I did NOT use the canbus adaptors/resistors with my Sinoparcel leds in a 2016 xlt and they work perfect. No flickering or anything. These LEDs use the new Phillips ZES chips.
I have the stock halogen reflectors and the cutoff is perfect. Love em.

I was worried when I ordered the anzo everyone said the projectors were terrible and I was gonna hate them. So I planed to run them and retrofit later. I knew I didn’t want led i have seen all the test and sadly HID still throw light better than most aftermarket led bulbs. Got the morimoto kit had success with my last retro and there kit and loved it. Nothing against other brand kits but the cheap kit in my wife’s accord has been great after bulb change. So the day came installed and to my surprise the people bitching about these projectors must be crazy I had a better cut off line than my oem bi xenon bmw that I traded for the truck. I’m very happy with the morimoto and hid I might run led for the high beams since I don’t use them really .

Also check out 4x4truckleds as well. They have nice sets of LED's that work in the Anzo lights. I have a set of F150LEDS.com Cree LEDs in my Anzos and they work just fine. I have not tried HIDs though, but I hear mixed reviews on whether they are too hot for the housing or not.
