last week, you see the slo/mo makes em uneasy cause they can't fool it with criticism, the severity of what happens in proportional to the speeds involved - the seperation you can get from them while near their vacinity an these bitching winds across these flat open streatches now that crops are harvested. With a lighter note the Hood takes the grandkids trick or treating tomorrow after this heat system install here at the home. You see this truck is averaging near 50mph every hour it runs an almost impossible average since new out of the dealer lot cage so it is in most all kinds of road conditions an will have near 120,000 miles on it in 3 1/2 years.

Bought a 2016 yesterday at a dealer 4 hours away, didn't notice any problems with the hood.

Means nothing. Read 201 thread. Hoods bulge /change their shape a whole lot. Try not to visit the above conditions out in open spaces.

Congrats. I love mine, just the hood concern. My hood ¥. Best driving most fun truck yet with 2" hub centric spacers an bilstien 5100 rear shocks. You will soon discover the OEM rear shock handling problem too. Just change them out. U may never notice the hood bulge in those hills. Flat plains is a different story with dirrection / conditions.

If it is such a widespread issue (but only in your mind....) I would certainly find multiple complaints on NHTSA, Automotive News reports, Autoweek articles or maybe even something in Consumer Reports. Nothing, zilch........
I'm pretty sure this is purely a pointless thread start d so the OP can see how many replies he can get. I have been following this, originally thinking how can someone be this stunned? I watched the videos, and that just confirmed that it's about nothing lol. But I've realized that if you are super ignorant to people when you comment on their replies, you will get a lot of pissed off people chiming in, and this get more replies. How else can you explain this many replies to a pointless question? This is the thread about nothing, just like Seinfeld lol. That's why I made the no soup for you comment lol. I've checked out other threads the OP started and there is one with like 2300 replies, 95% are just himself typing nonsense lol

Mostly just a negative guy here. The Dictionary is ment to seem rediculous. It's more like 99.99%. Mean while I had this thread opened up for aluminum generation owners to comment about their hood, means most any comment the hood covers. My concern is mine and others that feel the OEM should respond in some fashion. Vote/don't vote. Its your 2cents worth. The fact I believe a carbon fiber composite hood is the way to go is mine. The phenom I speak is dependent on certain specific conditions and speed. These conditions are rather common happenings for some You wont like it if it hapens to you doing 75 mph or so. It happened to me after 9500 miles from the lot cage. I believe the OEM should add safety tie down cables near the hinges. If you have nothing under your hood "anything" ?

The F150 has had an aluminum hood since 2004, and possibly earlier. My 05 had an aluminum hood, and yes you see it flex a little here and there but it's of no concern.
