For the people that have a reg 2015 how does it ride compared to past reg cabs you have owned. I have a 2012 and its a little stiff. I know short wheel base / stiff frame etc. Plus some of the roads are not so great here. Has the ride improved for the new design. I love my reg cab looks and performance "5.0".

mine was on the lot, they actually had two regular cab XLT 4x4's with a 5.0. One was a short box and the other a long box, I wanted the long box. The only thing I wish it had was the 8" radio for the back up camera, but I can learn to deal with out. Other then that, it had everything else I wanted and more. Dealer added window tint, bedliner, remote start and interior/exterior protection...
The dealer had another 8 regular cabs coming in, and when I went back to finalize the deal the other regular cab I looked at was already gone...

I imagine most reg cabs would be 8 foot box for commercial/contractors.
Anytime I find a reg cab short box its a 2wd, which is pretty well f'ing useless where I live. It is funny, because the reg cab short boxes are what Ford North America calls replacements for the Ford Ranger.
I miss my Ranger Sport SCAB 4x4. The space behind the front seats was great for gear.
Can't seem to find many, if any XL with 4x4 up hear either. When I bought my 14 SCAB xlt, I was trying to find an XL or STX 4x4, and the one STX I Found was more money than the xlt, which makes no friggen sense to me. Even on the Ford builder now, to build an XL with 4x4 and sync and tow package you end up more than the same thing in an XLT

Of the 8 the dealer had coming in, one was a long box, and it was an xl base 2wd with a 3.5 NA. The rest were short box XLT 5.0's in either 2wd or 4x4. Most long boxes they get are XL fleet orders, Ford just decided to send them an XLT and I found it...

I got my 2016 RCSB last week. It was ordered back in February, and that was the first time in almost 6 months that the dealer was able to place the order. Curiously, Ford Leasing will not do a regular cab pickup. I had to go to a third-party lease company. Anyway, it's 4x4 with a 5.0 and it's going to be a keeper.
