I'm just before ordering the tuner and 3 tunes for my 2016 5.0 F150 and was wondering if anyone has their tunes or any comments on their 5.0 tune. I spoke with them a couple weeks ago and they were very honest, friendly and answered all my questions. I almost rather have it dyno tuned locally but I know Livernois has a very good reputation and they work directly with the Big 3 at times. I'll also be adding a CAI at the same time.

Sub'd. Interested in seeing your results regardless of who you go with. I don't think you can go wrong with Livernois though.

I wanted their tune badly, but they use a tuner that nobody else uses. You'd have to buy a new tuner if you decide to go with a different company.

I remember reading a few reviews on this forum and a few others of guys running the Livernois 5.0 tune and all were positive from what I can recall.

I run their tune on my 2.7 and LOVE it. Even though you're not going to get as big of gains on the 5.0 from a tune that you would w/ an EB, the improvement in throttle response, shifting and overall drivability make it worth it IMO.

I'd be surprised if you weren't happy with the results. Keep us posted!

Friend just got the 5.0 tune from LET - they used the sct x4.

Night and day difference.

I've had the Livernois tune on the truck for almost a year and 10K miles later; still happy every time I drive it.

Sport mode and the tune is a whole new animal. It's like a giant sports car in the way it shifts and holds a gear while turning or slowing down.

A tune is always the first thing I do my vehicles as I don't like factory settings; they are optimized for fuel efficiency and seamless shifting. However, there is no need for the truck to change through 6 gears by 40mph.

Update
Just ordered the SCT X4 and 3 tunes to come from MPT.
My JLT cold air intake from Stage3motorsports will be here tomorrow and my 12249 18 inch magnaflow muffler is getting welded in tomorrow afternoon. I'll give reviews and updates as the parts go on.
