Anybody with XL or XLT done just the chrome outer door handles?

I'm confused; maybe I'm misunderstanding the OP's question. My '16 XLT came with the chrome package. My door handles are chromed, but the backing plates are body color (Oxford White). Is that not normal?

From everything I can see on a 2018 model (mine's on order) the XL Chrome Appearance Package only includes the bumpers (front and rear) and the fog lights. It doesn't impact the door handles, mirrors or tailgate.

Maybe that was different in 2015 and 2016?

Or maybe its different for XLT, but XL only gets bumpers?

Ahhh, I understand now -- thanks for clearing that up. Must be a difference between model years or trim level, or maybe both.

They were, previous owner had them on when I bought the truck. I removed them a few days after taking ownership
