1) don't sit on the seats or place anything on the seats, or,
2) don't buy leather seats

That's one of the reasons I'll never buy with leather. My wife was pissed when she brought home a propane tank that she placed on the back leather seat of her car and 3 years later it's still dented from just a 10 minute drive. She didn't know it would do that and she didn't want it rolling around in the trunk so she put it on the seat with a seatbelt bad ideas all around...

Any seat cover that's padded should do the trick, but then you might still end up with wrinkles around the edges of the padding.

I am glad all my kids are out of "carseats". I just bought my 6 year old a new high back booster with a flat bottom because I am ordering Clazzios soon and didn't want his current booster to dent them.

The leather on my wife's outback has 70k miles on it and the leather still looks new and doesn't have any indention's on any of the seats.

What one did you end up with I think my 5 year old will be ok with a booster especially with the airbag seatbelts that the truck has.

My XLT with cloth seats has dents from my grand daughter's car seat, so it's not just leather.

Just fold a bath towel under there. It comes in handy when they spill crap as well
