Any Thoughts to Share
I have two F150 Lariats on my shopping list. Both are 2018s.
Vehicle 1: Canadian import with the Coyote 5.0 and 66k miles
Vehicle 2: Ecoboost 3.5 with 58k miles.
Both are one owner trucks. Do Canadian imports have any different equipment or issues?
I'm a bit of a sucker for a V8 soundtrack, but that's only a preference, not a requirement.
Both are priced the same.
Any thoughts or advice?

Not using it to tow often, I would have gone with the ecoboost (I've heard the ecoboost uses more fuel pulling a heavy load than the coyote).
As far as the transmission, the early 10R80s (pre-2023) have a CDF drum issue...I just had my transmission rebuilt at 125k
I would go for a 2015-2017 5.0, or a 2023+ with pretty much any engine.
I have a 2018 5.0, which I bought because I thought I would do a lot more towing than what I ended up doing -- we have a 30' camper and planned on going around the country but 2020 put us in the camper for a very long time and pretty much ruined camping for us.

Good to know. I turned my sights on a 2022 Lariat. It has the 2.7 but they are offering it at a really good price. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get up to see it until the end of next week due to my schedule and the distance from my place.
Give the 2.7 a try. It’s surprisingly powerful.
