Default Any problem with setting Bilstein 5100 at the highest setting?

Is it that big a difference versus doing the second to highest setting? I want my 2wd to sit like a 4wd so I'm deciding between 1.75 inches and 2.1 inches with a 1 inch rear block.

id set it at the highest setting. I'd rather be too tall than too short in this case. You would have to pull the struts back out to adjust them again.

The top most setting gas the least down travel and the most strain on front end components. Lots of threads here about people being unhappy with them set to highest. Also guys who are ok with them on highest, so your mileage may vary.

Default Hi

i was meant to ask same question. Thanks OP. Now is there a difference if one has 5100 in the rear vs stock ? I read somewhere that 5100 in rear add about 1/2 inch height.
I installed 5100 in rear and still waiting on like op to decide. I wish I remembered to measure before I did

I have had the 5100’s (front & rear) for a year now and love them. The ride is so much better then stock. I have the front set at the higest setting with zero issues. I am sitting perfectly level this way.

If I had to do it again I would probably go with the second highest setting. The truck looks great the way it is, however it does sit a little nose high with any weight in the bed.

FYI my driveway is on a bit of a downhill angle. The truck is dead level on the highest setting on level ground.

5100 rear shocks add nothing to height.
