Any one else seen this????
I have a 2016 f150 xlt with the 302a package. For some reason every now and then when i start my truck the screen comes up the dual climate control screen. Almost everything works on it, i can change fan speed and temperature and such. Soon as i switch it over to audio it wont go back to the climate control screen. I know my truck isnt even supposed to have the option. Just curious if anyone has seen an update for the glitch or not before i take it to the stealership and they feed me a line of bull about they cant fix it.....

I've never messed with it on the XLT models... but you can use Forscan to enable this functionality, which I've done on my Lariat. It's quite convenient, since my lower controls are blocked by a Toughpad tablet.

This was a known glitch in earlier models. There has been several threads about this issue a while back. Nothing to worry about. And like they said, if you like it, you can turn it on with Forscan.

lariats come with the dual zone. you don't need forscan to enable it.

nope, never had anything hooked up to the truck at all. It didnt start doing it until probably the last 5k miles. truck has 25k on it. Its very random when it does it. nothing really seems to spark the problem. I have no desire to have the option enabled, id rather us the hard controls. Just wondered if there was a software update i could mention to the dealer

The dealer should be able to disable this screen completely (or alternatively you could do it yourself with forscan).
More than likely it is just enabled in your settings, and it shouldn't be.

Some 2016 F150 vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 and Electronic Manual Temperature Control (EMTC) may experience a condition in which the climate control features are displayed on the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) randomly and usually after starting the vehicle. The vehicle is not equipped with this feature and this is not a normal characteristic of an EMTC system. To correct the condition, reprogram the Front Control Interface Module (FCIM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 102.01 or higher.
