First, I have spent a lot of time reading numerous threads and going through websites such as customwheeloffset and I see conflicting information.
I have a 15 Crew 4wd with 275/65/20 BFG's on the stock platinum wheels with 1.5 Bora spacers. The truck is leveled with Fox coilovers 2.0.
I plan on switching to Fuel Beast wheels that are 20x9 and having Nitto Ridge Grapplers mounted. I was torn between 295/60 and 285/60 because I do not want them to rub nor do I want to mess with the crash bars.
I cannot determine if I would be better off with a +1 offset or a +20 offset. I would like the tires flush with the factory flares or slightly poking out.
Anyone with a similar wheel with those tire sizes that can shed some light on this for me that did not have to modify or cut anything to make them fit?
Forgot to mention, absolutely no rubbing ever. Right pic is +20, left pic is +1 offset. I switched out my +1 wheels (tire store mistake) for +20 wheels because they were too close to rubbing and they stuck out too far.
I don't have any pictures to share but I can tell you that the factory Platinum wheels with 1.5-inch wheel spacers factored in effectively changes the dimensions to 20x8.5 ET+7
With that said, a 20x9 with ET+20 offset will sit about 1/4-inch further inwards when compared to your current set-up. The 20x9 ET+1 will sit about 1/2-inch further outwards when compared to what you're running now.
