Another EIBACH / BILSTEIN question
Before I get started let me just say that yes I have searched the forums and researched this.
I have a 2019 screw 4x4 with the 2.7
I would like to level it out ASAP( since i need new tires) with a 2 inch lifted struts and rears. ( eventually going to 3 inches when I can afford uca's)
I'm deciding between the eibach pro truck ( no springs) and the 5100's. Any opionons on differences, likes, dislikes would be very helpful.
Ive seen lots of posts on the pro truck setup but nothing where they just used the shocks and struts.

It's rare to find people who have used both of a specific product, so don't be surprised if you don't find that. However, a lot of people run both and are happy. Personally, I have the Bilstein and am very happy with them.
Yes I have read people love both but the EIBACH guys seem to be running the shocks with the springs. Haven't heard from anyone running just the EIBACH struts with stock springs. Glad to hear your liking the BILSTEIN and thanks for your input!
I have the Eibach struts with stock springs, and ride is very similar to stock, which is what I was after, hence why I kept the stock springs. Havent done the Bilsteins on an F150, but I hated them on a previous Ram as it made the ride much stiffer.
3.5 rather than 2.7, but shouldnt make much of a difference if you keep stock springs.

Thanks for the input. The stock suspension is too soft for me. Too much body roll, nose diving and the back end seems to float around on rough stuff. The only reason I wouldn't do the springs is cost of the springs and having to get UAC's.
did you do the eibachs just for the leveling aspect?

Partially, and the stock shocks suck. Had a 2" spacer on it when I bought the truck, and there was still too much rake for me. Did the Eibachs and set the height at the 2nd notch (so .7" of lift) and left the 2" spacer on as well. Did rancho UCAs at the same time. The Eibachs decreased the nose diving some.
For the rear I did Fox shocks and that made a big difference.

I have the full Eibach set, pre assembled fronts and rear shocks. Personally I dont think they did enough testing. When going over speed bump at reasonable speed it has a violent rebound. So far I have 3k miles and it has gotten Better but still very stiff.
normal driving is fine. I wish I kept the old springs.
If Bilstein is like this is recommend only getting shocks.
