Amazon LED Bulbs

Yes they are plug and play but to run the lows you’ll need to run an extended dust cover. The fan just lacks a tiny bit of room.

I just put the TechMax lows and highs in a couple hours ago.
It was hard to decided what to go with but I'm glad it's done. I'm hoping they do the trick for a long time.
The install wasn't bad. I had a few issues with the first light as I didn't take the bracket all the way off. Once I did it was a lot easier. I wasted my money on the larger boots. They were pretty difficult to seat and the hardest part of the install. I just gave up on them since the popped right back off. I put the factory boot back on with a slight gap at the top of the low beams. I will keep an eye on them and adjust them if I see its needed. But I fought with those other covers for way too long. I maybe should've tried dish soap or something but I poked a hole in the first one and was done after that.
I'm going to stick the halogen 9005 bulbs in the fogs. I almost never use them and for now I don't care about matching them. Maybe later I will. Or I might look at amber covers or something. It's not something I want to invest much in though.
I also put in the Dee Zee bed mat. This is all stuff I probably should've done when I first got the truck. I just didn't have the information I needed but I do recommend it after doing it.
The Lomax cover is next...

doesnt really matter As long as they are bigger than oem. The oem dust cover lack very very little to fit over the fan for the bulb.
But leaving the dust cover off of cracked just a little I do not recommend. You will eventually get condensation in your headlight. Not a matter if But when.

I put these on and they are really nice. Don't blind oncoming drivers. I was able to put about 90% of the cover back on, but found the condensation was terrible. I ended up just leaving the covers off and there has been no condensation whatsoever.
Is there really an issue leaving them off? I mean, I've had cars where there are no covers

while u may not have gotten condensation or anything yet. It’s going to happen. You’ll get debris ,dust moisture in there. Which could cause the inside of the light housing to yellow and degrade the light out put. Kind of how the nasty crap get all over the outside of the light. Which can be fixed easily.
Unless your cool with buying new headlights when that happens. I’d just go with the less than $10 caps and be safe
