Default Alternative to Boxlink

Found this while browsing. Looks like a good product but a bit expensive. Anyone know of another product? Preferably steel.

I simply want just a solid tie down point. Boxlink is ok, but doesn’t fit some tie down hooks and they’re unnecessarily large. Something simple like below would be so much more useful to me.

The BoxLink plates and some of these wouldn't be too expensive.

Are those the etrack accessories? I’ve read they fit somewhat loose in the boxlink plates. Any concerns there regarding that?

They use them in freight vans and moving trucks, I am not concerned about their ability to hold a load.

yes, I’ve used them. My question wasn’t regarding the integrity of the part itself but the interface with boxlink plates.

They fit fine, been on my truck since I got it in March with zero issues and I have put 2 Honda bikes in the back using those mounts.

I bought some etrack compatible 2x4 mounts for the boxlink plates in my 2017. They do fit, but they definitely have a bit of play in them. Once some tension is on them they are fine, so if you were just using the rings earlier in this thread, I think you would be fine.
