Hi all - Recently traded in my Silverado for a 19 F150 . Almost everything about the F150 is better than the Chevy and I would've gotten an F150 instead of the Silverado due to pricing but the incentives were right this year and here we are.
My biggest complaint on the F150 is the headlights. I went from HID projectors on my Silverado to the dim stock halogens in the F150 and it drives me nuts. Especially at night as where I live it's mostly back roads.
I've been looking at the AlphaRex Pro series but I can't seem to find much feedback for them, at least on here. I did some searches so if I just missed the link and y'all got one that's great.
If not - Anyone running them? What bulbs are you using? How do you like them and how was the install?
Do mean the Nova series? If so those have built in LED. Chips. 2 for high and 2 low and sequential turn signals in the halo Nova series alpha rexx
Edit: Found the Pro series. I think most are using LEDs. Some HIDs other just using higher end halogen bulbs.
There is a thread about them and I'll post it here if I find it.
For LEDs sinoparcel zes chips and Hikari LED kits seem to work great in them as well as stock halogen housings. I have used both in the stock housing on the 15-17 design.

It doesn't look like there is any bulbs included so I'd need to get those.
The issue with the current halogen housings is that the light pattern is usually scattered and blinding. That was at least the issue on my older F150 - Not sure if that's still an issue on the new trucks.

There are shots on here of the stock housing and the alpharex and they have a good cutoff. You will probably have to re-aim you stock housing if installing LED or hid bulbs in them. At least I did and need to aim again with the Hikari LED.
I recently installed the Alpharex PRO series lights along with CrystLux G11 Hi and Low beams and Crystux projector fogs.
The install was pretty straight forward and aiming them only took about 10 min. I am very happy with the light output of the G11's and haven't had any issues so far with the lights or housings.
Just finished installing the AlphaRex lights with Beamtech LED bulbs. I wish I could say this a simple drop in replacement light set. It's not really.
None of the things I had to do to get them in were terribly difficult but it's not a simple plug and play operation.
First and foremost there are no instructions. The seller will send you a YouTube link. It's worthless. Doesn't show the wiring, the only important part.
They spend 10 minutes pulling plastic plugs to get the grill out and about 0.5 seconds showing the wiring. I'll post a picture at the bottom of the correct wiring on the back of the light.
Secondly the socket for the amber turn signal bulb doesn't fit the f-150 light.
Socket is for a 4 prong, Ford has a 3 prong. Get your sharpie out mark the correct location for 3 prongs and CAREFULLY start carving away plastic with an Xacto knife to make it fit. Go to big your light will fall out, take your time.
I put some RTV around mine just to be sure it wouldn't leak or fall out.
My drivers side headlight plug was poorly repaired by the AlphaRex guys. Looks like a hack JB weld job. We'll see if it holds up. Not what I expected to see when I opened the box on a brand new set of $600 lights.

Wonderful - Thank you for the information! I'll spend some time scrolling through there.

Looks great! How are the fogs? I figure I'll end up doing those as well as I'll be annoyed by 6k headlight bulbs with 3k fog lights or whatever actual color they are.

Just a heads up the group buy coupon code still works for the Novas! Brought the total to 1000 even. I figured 600 bucks for housing plus 250 bucks for quality LED bulbs and I was only 150 away from a true LED projector headlight. I知 really happy with the choice. The Novas are INCREDIBLE for output. I値l get some pictures of them on the road soon but I highly recommend them if they work for your budget. The coupon code is what finally pushed me that way
