Default Alpharex nova headlights help

Hey guys...
I recently bought and installed the new Alpharex nova series headlights on my Xlt. I ran into a problem....
All the functions of the sequential work...
When I turn on my truck the high beams flicker like crazy...I’ve tried everything in the book.
When the engine is off the high beam do NOT flicker. Any ideas on what’s going on?? Thanks

Are the high beam bulbs HID or LED?

It sounds like a PWM issue. You need to add a capacitor inline with the headlights. You can buy these fairly cheaply.

They are LED....thought the problem would be solved with these capacitors..

That's pretty big, are you sure that's a capacitor?

It needs to be inline with the OEM input wire.

Probably need some sort of resistor so the truck doesn’t think theirs no bulb plugged in since the LEDs doesn’t require a lot of power to run

That's only the case with turn signals.

These trucks use pulse width modulation, which means they don't supply constant source of electricity to the bulbs. It's "More efficient" what does means is that for bulbs that require a lot less electricity, like LEDs, They flicker.

So pretty much any aftermarket LED is going to have flickering problems ? Been looking at upgrading my stock Halogens on my 19 to either Morimoto or AlphaRex like OP.

It depends on your truck, but yes. Some of them don't seem to have the issue.

I needed to fix it with my Morimoto HIDs.
